Spring Training

This weekend we left the snow behind and drove to St. George to stay with Grandpa Jim and take Denver to Spring Training in Mesquite Nevada. It was a nice change of weather and temperature!! Do not be fooled by the green grass,, it is artifical turff but a very nice new complex. Denver is playing catch in photo, He did a great job. He hit a ball clear to center field it hit and bounced over the fence, so no homerun but he was noticed. I can't even believe it is Baseball season already!! We still have about 8 inches of snow, I guess we will be traveling to most of the games......Unless we get some warm warm weather, ha,ha,ha.

Baby Memphys

we stopped to deliver Valentines to the grandaughters and got this precious little smile!!!

A NEW PRESIDENT

Today we watched history in the making. I have been very interested in the reactions
and comments of people. At the South Summit Elementary School, the T.V.'s were on as the children watched. Some teachers interacted and explained what was going on step by step. Others sat quietly and watched, others choose not to tune in at all.
I myself have high hopes for the "change" that has been promised. I wish the new President the best of luck, because he has his work cut out for him...But it is still so neat to see history made.
