A CLOSE CALL
Well one of my biggest fears about Denver playing football, is a reality.
2 weeks ago while playing in the game against Delta, he took a helmet to helmet hit.
Needless to say he had a moderate concussion. We were not sure how his head would recover
this time. So after being examined by our local Dr., off to the surgeon we went.
I felt sooooooo bad for Denver, having to face the possibility of not ever playing the
game again, after working so hard all summer. We knew the risks going into the season and allowing him to play. After visiting with Dr. Denys (the surgeon who originally put the plates in his head), we all breathed a huge sigh of relief! Everything checked out perfectly in tact.
So Homecoming here he comes!
