OUR LITTLE DEAF DOG

O.K. for those of you who know me well, I have a big soft heart for dogs. It is probably because as a child we had sooooooo many animals. All five sisters had a pet of their own to take care of. Mine were always dogs and horses. And after loosing my sweet little Faith, I decided to try to find a Jack Russell to take her place. We soon found a little male on ksl.com He is full of energy and a great little man, and has made the adjustment great, considering he had 4 homes before we got him from a gal that rescues dogs. Well feeling like he might like a playmate, I went back to ksl.com and found a cute little female. When we went to see her, she was so sweet and cute I told the girl we would take her. Then came the shock, she said " Will it matter if she is deaf?' What ? A deaf dog? But me liking to take on a challenge, I said oh no thats ok.

I am know wondering if any of you have ever had any experience with a deaf pet? If so I would like to hear any advice you would like to share...... She is very sweet and gentle , but how to communicate with her is a challenge......this is her, her name is Lil Bit and Copper has been just great with her , its almost like he knows something is just not right. I would appreciate any feedback.
